ROCHESTER, MN – Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01), member of the House Armed Services Committee, joined the Minnesota National Security Ecosystem, local leaders, and health innovators for a Defense Health Roundtable. The discussion focused on Minnesota’s unique role in the country’s healthcare, research, and national security spaces and how the First District can continue to stay at the forefront of innovation.
“With leading healthcare professionals and increased investments in our national defense ecosystem, southern Minnesota has a unique opportunity to become a defense health hub,” said Rep. Finstad. “As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I’ve had the opportunity to deliver for our service members, strengthen our industrial base, and ensure businesses of all sizes can contribute to our national security, while also representing some of the best in healthcare. Today’s roundtable brought together industry leaders to discuss the ways our state can continue to grow and merge these critical spaces. Thank you to the Minnesota National Security Ecosystem team for bringing together these men and women who exemplify what puts our state at the center of innovation.”
