WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01), member of the House Committee on Small Business, introduced a House resolution designating May 3, 2026, through May 9, 2026, as National Small Business Week. The legislation acknowledges the contributions of small businesses and entrepreneurs in every community across the country.
“I am honored to bring forward this resolution to recognize and celebrate the small, locally owned businesses that make the places we call home so special during this year’s National Small Business Week,” said Rep. Finstad. “Whether it be family farms or Main Street shops, our small businesses are the backbone of communities in southern Minnesota and the country as a whole.”
Finstad continued, “As a member of the House Committee on Small Business, I’m proud to be a voice in Washington for the small business owners and entrepreneurs who invest in our communities, making them a great place to work, live, and raise a family.”
