WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) released a statement following today’s passage of H.R. 9770, Continuing Appropriations Act, 2027, legislation that extends government funding at current levels with a continuing resolution (CR) through December 4, 2026:
“The House Committee on Appropriations has successfully advanced all twelve funding bills out of committee, working hard to responsibly fund the government and restore long overdue regular order to our appropriations process. I was proud to vote yes on this clean CR, which prevents another government shutdown like the record-long funding halt that we experienced last year due to the Democrats’ political games. By continuing federal funding through December 4th, this legislation prevents another costly shutdown, ensures constituents can continue to rely on essential government services, and gives Congress time to finalize full-year appropriations bills.”
