“Since President Trump took office, both Congress and his Administration have taken decisive action to root out billions of dollars in waste, fraud, and abuse from programs that fail to reflect the values and needs of the American people,” said Rep. Finstad. “In November, Americans voted for a new direction under President Trump, and this legislation upholds the promise we made to them – to end Washington’s out-of-control spending of taxpayer dollars. By codifying the President’s spending cuts, we are taking the necessary steps to slash $9 billion in wasteful government spending.
