Education
As a father with seven children that span throughout our education system, I know how important a proper education is. Recent attempts to shut parents out of the process is unacceptable. The relationship between parents and our schools should be collaborative, though in the end these are your children, not the government’s.
Furthermore, at the postsecondary level, student loan debt has spiraled out of control for students unable to secure high-paying jobs that keep up with the size of these loans. It is evident that postsecondary education is no longer keeping up with the speed of business or the needs of our students. We must make real reforms to the system that will provide affordable opportunities while streamlining workforce integration.
