Only a few short years ago America experienced full energy independence. Unfortunately, outsized regulations on industries across the country like mining, oil, nuclear power, and more, have left us dependent on foreign, oftentimes adversarial sources of energy to meet our demands. Not only is this a question of national security, but also a wasted opportunity for America to remain a regional and global leader in energy technology, production, and exports.

Minnesotans have proven time and time again that taking advantage of our natural resources does not mean sacrificing our environment. It is time we restore American energy independence and unleash the abundance of opportunity that we have in our state and our nation.
