Congress

The Constitution of the United States provides Congress with the power of the purse – unfortunately, elected officials in Washington have neglected this primary responsibility. Continuing resolutions and multi-subject, eleventh hour omnibus spending packages just to keep the lights on have become the norm. It is time that Congress does its job to provide the American taxpayers with responsible, balanced budgets that do not add to an already growing and insurmountable national debt.
