WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01), member of the House Armed Services Committee, released a statement following the full committee markup of H.R. 3838 – the Streamlining Procurement for Effective Execution and Delivery and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26):
“During my time in Congress, I’ve worked to champion policies that cut government red tape for southern Minnesotans, and I’m proud to support this year’s NDAA that does the same for our nation’s defense. With less bureaucracy and more efficiency in our military, we can ensure that our men and women in the military have what they need, when they need it,” said Rep. Finstad.
“Maintaining America’s competitiveness is a critical component of Peace Through Strength. This year’s NDAA bolsters our defense industrial base and supply chains, while also strengthening America’s leadership around the world by making strong investments in the innovation and capabilities necessary to deter adversaries like China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. I was proud to support the Committee’s passage of this bipartisan legislation, and I look forward to supporting it on the House Floor.”
