WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) voted in support of three appropriations bills that passed the House of Representatives which will fund aspects of our government for Fiscal Year 2025: the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, and the State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act.
Rep. Finstad issued a statement on today’s votes saying, “I am proud to stand with my colleagues and vote in support of these three bills, which gets us to over 60% of discretionary funding passed by the House. These bills provide significant investment in our servicemembers, show steadfast support for our border patrol agents, and allow our country to establish peace through our strength around the world. Further, they do so in a fiscally responsible manner, eliminating wasteful programs and halting the Biden Administration’s far-left agenda. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass the remaining funding packages and restoring regular order to the appropriations process within the House of Representatives.”
