WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01), member of the House Committee on Armed Services, announced his nominees for the nation’s service academies.

“As a member of Congress, it is an honor to nominate bright, young southern Minnesotans to our country’s prestigious service academies,” said Rep. Finstad. “I am proud to nominate these four remarkable men to their perspective academies, and I know that each of them has the dedication it takes to succeed as a future member of our Armed Forces. I look forward to their next chapter in serving our nation.”

Nominees include: Henry Krebs (Rochester) and Josh Engman (Rochester), to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy; and Matthew Frentz (Lake City) and Matthew Larson (Owatonna) to attend the U.S. Naval Academy.

Recently, Congressman Finstad met with the 2024 nominees and their families to congratulate them on their achievements.
