ROCHESTER, MN – Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (MN-06) hosted a roundtable discussion in Cannon Falls with southern Minnesota law enforcement, ambulance services, fire departments, and emergency service providers to hear about their local infrastructure needs and federal resources available to their communities.
“Our emergency services personnel are the key to keeping our friends, families, and neighbors safe,” said Rep. Finstad. “As Members of Congress, these conversations with our public safety community keep us engaged with the needs of the finest and bravest in Minnesota. I’m grateful to House Majority Whip Emmer for joining me in the First District today to hear from these men and women, and for the folks in attendance who took time to speak with us.”

In attendance were representatives from public safety and emergency departments across southern Minnesota, including Brownsville, Cannon Falls, Faribault, Mower County, Nerstrand, Northfield, Oronoco, Red Wing, Rochester, Sleepy Eye, St. Charles, West Concord, and Zumbrota.
