ROCHESTER, MN – Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) hosted a roundtable discussion with U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota Daniel Rosen and members of the southern Minnesota law enforcement community. In attendance were Sheriffs from multiple counties, as well as Chiefs of Police, Assistant Chiefs of Police, and Captains from police departments across Minnesota’s First Congressional District. The discussion gave law enforcement officers the opportunity to highlight successes within their departments, as well as discuss the challenges they face while serving communities.
“Day in and day out, our law enforcement officers answer the call to serve, keeping our loved ones out of harm’s way and protecting the communities we love,” said Rep. Finstad. “I’m proud to be a strong supporter of our law enforcement heroes and will continue working alongside federal and local partners to help our police departments succeed. Discussions like these give me the opportunity to speak directly to our local law enforcement leaders and hear how I can continue to support their teams in Congress.”
