Finstad Releases Statement Following House Authorization of Year-Round, Nationwide E15

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01), member of the House Agriculture Committee, released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1346, the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2025, legislation which would authorize the year-round, nationwide sale of E15 fuel:

“Throughout my time in Congress, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to delivering year-round, nationwide E15 for our farmers, rural economies, and consumers,” said Rep. Finstad. “I am extremely proud of our work to pass this commonsense, win-win solution that will provide much-needed certainty to our fuel supply chain. I urge my Senate colleagues to do the same and quickly pass this legislation.”

“American families are asking for help, and today Rep. Finstad delivered. The House’s approval of year-round E15 brings us one step closer to lowering prices at the pump in Minnesota and across the U.S.,” said Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor. “We’re deeply grateful to biofuel champions like Congressman Finstad for delivering lower gas prices to Minnesotans and for tirelessly working to secure this critical victory for year-round E15. We urge the Senate to take up this legislation right away—the sooner this bill reaches the President’s desk, the sooner we can deliver more savings to more Americans in every corner of the country.”
