Agriculture

Agriculture remains the backbone of Minnesota and the nation. With our global population growing and the number of farmers declining, we will need much greater rates of production than we see today. For this to happen, we must ensure that our farmers have the proper resources to promote efficiency and effectiveness.

I know firsthand that farmers are the greatest stewards of the land, as their livelihoods depend on it. However, recent attempts to implement Green New Deal policies have created unnecessary, burdensome obstacles for our farmers. It will be my top priority to ensure that our rural and agriculture communities have a seat at the table in Washington.

To submit your organization's Farm Bill priorities, please complete the Farm Bill Priority Form.

Submissions will be considered for transmission to the House Agriculture Committee and inclusion in the 2023 Farm Bill reauthorization.
